Mixing Patterns !

Whether it's stripes and checks, or florals, paisleys and polka dots, wearing two patterns once can be surprisingly chic. There are a few things to keep in mind.

  • Choose patterns that share a neutral  background, like brown, black, white or grey.
Make sure that the patterns have at least a few colors in common: if you're mixing a navy stripe shirt with a floral print skirt, make sure that a similar navy blue is part of the floral print - this is important if the two items don't share the same neutral background it wouldn't look right together!
  • Mix up the scale of the prints: a teeny-tiny polka dot with a big, oversized stripes - or even stripes on stripes, so long as they're not the same size.
Also , make sure that the stripes aren't the same size because that will look super crazy make sure some of the patterns are common colors you always have to keep that in close mind .
  • Don't go to overboard: Only two pieces in one outfit should have a pattern, and there should be at least one other element (a cardigan, tights, belt, or skirt) that's completely 100% plain.
I want you guys to have so much fun with mixing patterns together it's very classy and fashion forward!
1. Floral with a basic stripe shirt is so simple and girly with a very nice statement necklace just to spice it up a a little you can also add some bracelets if you want to and I love how in the picture they paired it with some simple black flats.

2.  The second outfit is very simple and casual it's more for the fall season or you can wear it versatile I will probably wear this during the fall , you don't have to like this look but hey it's not for everyone I honestly don't like the converse with them I would pair this with riding boots!!

3. Printed skirt , with a fun top I love this outfit for a sunny day outside you can wear this anywhere it doesn't matter the wedge sandals makes the whole outfit gold jewelry would make the outfit pop as well.
4. Polka dots with jeans these style can be worn on special occasions or going out with your girlfriends to the mall or what not personally I wouldn't wear jeans with this I would pair it with a simple black skirt or leggings the heels are very classy and edgy I really love that .

You might not like the outfits above but those are just examples of how you can style mixed pattern together !! I hope you like this post / tips ..

Bye loves xoxo
